Global Life Science Hub is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for a Contract Process Engineer based on the Northeast Coast, USA with a leading Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO). Our client is a renowned supplier of pharmaceutical and nutritional products to a diverse global market. This position offers the chance to join a rapidly growing team, providing extensive opportunities for career development and professional growth. This will be a full-time 24 month contract position.

Responsibilities:

• Optimize process yields and proactively identify/resolve process issues.
• Install small to medium-sized capital projects to improve plant performance and compliance.
• Generate and execute change controls, and validation protocols, and update control code within process PLCs/controllers.
• Monitor and interpret process data, design/install new process equipment, troubleshoot existing processes, and prepare reports for process improvements.
• Assess environmental impact, manage project cost and time constraints, and participate in risk assessments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering.
• 5+ years of process engineering experience in a regulated pharmaceutical, food, or chemical industry (cGMP preferred).
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Proficiency in creating code for PLCs and process automation platforms (Rockwell, Wonderware, ArchestrA, Siemens, etc.).
