Position: Doughnut Baker BARRACKS ROW (EASTERN MARKET)

Joining us as a Dayshift Doughnut Baker means immersing yourself in the heart and soul of our brand. With every mix, roll, and fry, you contribute to the legacy of District Doughnuts, serving up unparalleled taste and quality to doughnut enthusiasts.

Your Core Responsibilities:

• Select and prepare only the finest ingredients, ensuring our doughnuts remain a cut above the rest.
• Master the process of crafting, frying, and finishing our iconic doughnuts, ensuring each one meets our impeccable standards.
• Work diligently and efficiently, always upholding our exacting cleanliness and sanitation benchmarks throughout the preparation area.
• Engage positively with a team of passionate doughnut lovers, always eager to support and collaborate in crafting the perfect batch.

Your Recipe for Success:

• Bring at least 1-2 years of experience in high-volume doughnut production or a similar baking environment. However, at District Doughnuts, enthusiasm and a drive to learn can pave the way for any dedicated individual.
• Embody our team spirit, always ready to pitch in, help, and elevate the people around you.
• Showcase a deep passion for doughnuts and a meticulous eye for freshness, quality, and artistry.
• Be eager to learn, grow, and perfect your craft.

TWO OPENINGS

Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday availability with shifts being from 12-9 pm (Weekends Friday through Sunday are Mandatory)

Monday through Friday 11:30 am-8 pm

Full-Time Position: Salary range is $20-21/hr, commensurate with experience.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older and able to work in the US.
• Must be able to lift, move, and handle equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position during an 8-10 hour shift.
• Familiarity with food safety and basic sanitation protocols.

 Servsafe or DC health certificates are a plus but not required.
