Informatics Program Analyst, Senior

We have an opening for a full-time, permanent Informatics Program Analyst, Senior to join our talented, dynamic team in support of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).  

The Informatics Program Analyst, Senior will play a critical role in planning, analyzing, and evaluating the effectiveness of operating programs related to health informatics.

Duties

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Analyze and evaluate program effectiveness using qualitative and quantitative analytical skills.
• Manipulate and analyze data to present program status and make recommendations for improvement.
• Identify, document, and mitigate risks associated with program implementation.
• Support effective communication and reporting on program status to stakeholders.
• Apply clinical informatics experience to support the design and evaluation of health IT systems within the VA.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Informatics, Computer Science, or related field
• 10+ years of relevant experience, including clinical informatics within a Veterans Administration healthcare setting
• Proficiency in data analysis and evaluation of program effectiveness
• Knowledge of SAFe’s Lean Agile principles and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
