Full Job Description
As Microsoft Power Platform Developer, you will work within the Navy’s Microsoft 365 environment, Flank Speed, to facilitate better collaboration and workflow automation for the Navy’s corporate research laboratory - NRL. You will collaborate with customers and fellow developers using M365 Power Suite, including PowerApps, PowerAutomate, Power BI and Dataverse. You will assist in analysis, design, development, testing and implementation of applications on Power Platform on an enterprise level.
Requirements
What you will do:
• Develop solutions by communicating with the customer, gathering requirements, and choosing appropriate tools
• Use of Power Platform components to extend and customize Microsoft apps and services such as Teams, Dynamics 365, Excel, and SharePoint
• Build, support, and administer model-driven apps, canvas apps and support existing portal apps
• Cover Power Automate flows and analyze data using Power BI visualization and dashboards.
• Create application enhancements, custom user experiences, system integrations, data conversions, custom process automation, and custom visualizations.
• Update your job knowledge by researching new technologies and software products
Experience we look for:
• Experience with all Microsoft Power Platform - MS PowerApps, MS Power Automate and Power BI
• Experience with SharePoint Online
• Experience with Microsoft Teams
• Experience developing in .NET, C#, JavaScript frameworks and SQL
• Office 365, and MS Azure
• JavaScript, Perl, and Python Scripting
Bonus points for:
• Related work experience in designing & architecting solutions using with Microsoft technologies (ASP.NET, .NET, C#)
• Experience using tools like JIRA and Confluence for collaboration
• Experience developing conventional web sites using CSS/HTML
• Knowledge of Power Platform CoE, governance and administration
• PHP development with Laravel and/or Drupal
Benefits
This is a full-time position with excellent benefits. Starting salary is flexible dependent on relevant experience. Our customer is located in southeast Washington, DC and requires US citizenship. Active Secret clearance required. As a member of the DoD cybersecurity workforce, the position will also require a favorable Tier 5 background investigation after hire.
