Full Job Description
Aretum is seeking a talented React Developer to join our team. As a React Developer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing user interface components using React.js concepts and workflows such as Redux. You will also be responsible for profiling and improving the performance of the application. This is a great opportunity to work on innovative projects in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Strong understanding of React 17 or 18 frameworks
- Experience with TypeScript and JavaScript
- Knowledge of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with front-end build tools
- Experience with RESTful APIs and data management using tools like RxJS and Redux
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Experience with unit testing and end-to-end testing using tools such as Jasmine and Protractor
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git
Requirements
- 6+ years of web application development experience
- Strong experience with React 17/18
- 5+ years of Software development experience
- 5+ years of experience with full-stack development, including understanding UI frameworks and back end architecture interactions
- Solid knowledge of Scrum, Kanban Agile development methodologies
- Excellent issue resolution skills within open-source products
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- AWS cloud-based development experience
- Experience creating custom website presence ideally for Federal agency public websites
- Understanding mobile-friendliness of websites
- Familiarity and experience with Section 508 standards
- Looking for self-motivated and fast-learners
Other Requirements
- The right candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline.
- This person must also be able to pass a Public Trust background check/clearance required by the Federal client.
- The role will require a pre-employment background and credit check in addition to any applicable client clearance.
