Full Job Description
The Revenue Analyst is a key contributor to the GlobalGiving team. This position reports to the Finance Controller and will be responsible for the overall revenue management function on the Financial Operation Team. The duties include onboarding corporate partners, handling billing and AR collection, and ensuring the proper revenue recognition. Leveraging the deep and hands-on knowledge of revenue management, the Revenue Analyst is expected to work on BI tools to create and maintain reports that are required to comply with Accounting Standards and datasets that are helpful for internal collaborators to maneuver revenue-generating activities. The position also assists in analyzing the current and future revenue stream.

Primary Responsibilities
- Receive and analyze existing, new, and renewed corporate partner agreements
- ASC 606 – Revenue Recognition Compliance
- Perform and/or review Partner invoicing and collections
- Processing Offline corporate partner contribution files ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Corporate fund accounts, DAFs, and deferred revenue
- Reconcile corporate gift card purchases and underwriting
- Providing advice and support to the Business Partnerships team on corporate agreements and invoicing
- Process-related accounting and revenue tracking activity, including:
- Posting and reconciling revenue and payment activity
- Update revenue and cost-tracking systems
- Work closely with personnel performing billing administration
- Support the maintenance and development of systems necessary to administer Revenue accounting as well as systems implicated by such tasks
- Collaborates with various team members to design and/or process improvement related to the billing function
- Prepare, analyze, and summarize reports on fee revenues (market and corporate), revenue forecasts, account receivables, deferred revenue and AR aging
- Assist in the month and year-end closing process of revenue area: ensure the timing of invoices and collections are properly reflecting the contracts and services rendered to ensure ASC606 compliance
- Using the GGF’s BI tool, develop and maintain reports helpful for revenue management.
- Participate in ERP project to incorporate revenue management function
Requirements
Required Qualifications

- A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or business administration
- or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of accounting, financial, and/or administrative experience required
- Experience in working with an accounting invoicing system
- Extraordinary attention to detail
- Technically well-versed and able to learn new technical skills
- Experience in working with Business Intelligence and Reporting tool
- Experience and proficient use of Excel and Google Sheets
- Capable of working with partners collaboratively and professionally
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications
In addition, the ideal candidate would also have some or all of the following qualifications:
- Experience with revenue management and billing
- Knowledge of Salesforce, Python, JIRA, and/or Netsuite, a plus but not required
- Experience with MySQL and/or databases, but not required

Salary range: $60-65k

Location
This is a full-time position reporting to the Finance Controller. GlobalGiving is a hybrid workplace allowing for frequent remote work. While candidates based in the greater Washington, DC area are preferred, we will consider strong candidates who wish to work remotely.
