As a result of our continued growth, we are looking for a Senior Enterprise Account Executive of Government Sales to join our government sales team in Washington, D.C. This is an individual contributor role and reports to the VP of Government Sales; you will be responsible for identifying and closing business across the Government vertical. We would love to talk to you if you are an established enterprise sales professional with experience selling in Government accounts. About the role:
Some of the things you will be doing include.
- Using your enterprise sales experience to identify and qualify opportunities across target accounts to sell Oritain’s products and services.
- Developing a creative and comprehensive strategy to enable you to achieve/exceed your revenue targets across your accounts.
- Position and maintain Oritain’s brand and continue to establish our brand in the market.
- Presenting our solution and value proposition to key stakeholders and influencers across each organisation to win and close complex sales.
- Leverage internal teams (e.g. product development, data scientists, consultants) to ensure alignment with client needs and optimise success.
- Develop and provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and other management reports for all your assigned accounts, opportunities, and business.
- Be the industry expert – stay current on industry trends, competitive intelligence and government regulations affecting ESG/GRC initiatives.
Requirements
About you:
Skills and experience:
- Bachelor's degree (in a science or data-related field would be nice to have)
- Must have a consistent and demonstrable record of accomplishment of achieving/exceeding revenue expectations.
- At least 7+ years of enterprise solution sales experience selling into the Government/Public Sector vertical.
- A background and/or understanding of either Big Data and/or Analytics, Supply Chain optimisation, Laboratory Science, or Software would be a big plus.
- A strong understanding of Government/Public Sector buying cycles, hierarchy, and personas. You know who is who and what they do.
- Experienced in creating data-driven programs to drive company strategy.
- Exemplary communication skills (written/verbal)
- Willing and able to travel to customers, business, and industry events (circa 30%)
- This is a hybrid role - 3 days in the office per week at our downtown offices.

The annualised salary range for this role is $220,000 - $300,000 OTE (USD)
