ARFA Solutions, LLC is a leading technology company seeking a talented Senior System Administrator to join our team. As a Senior System Administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining our infrastructure, ensuring its security, reliability, and performance. Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain our system infrastructure.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system resources.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
- Implement and maintain security measures to protect system integrity.
- Coordinate system upgrades and changes, ensuring minimal disruption and downtime.
- Perform regular system backups and ensure effective disaster recovery procedures.
- Implement automation and scripting solutions to streamline administrative tasks.
- Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations for system enhancements.
- Provide technical support and guidance to team members and end-users.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a System Administrator, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior role.
- Proficiency in managing and maintaining Windows and Linux server environments.
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
- Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified System Administrator (MCSA) or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), are a plus.
