Peregrine Advisors is seeking a highly qualified Systems Architect with specialized experience in systems design, architecture, and integration to join our team. This role involves overseeing the design and architecture of systems, developing data governance standards, and ensuring effective data integration and sharing across the organization and the federal government. The Systems Architect will play a critical role in managing system designs, facilitating technical solutions, and ensuring compliance with data governance standards.

Responsibilities

  • Technical Leadership: Direct accountability for the technical correctness, timeliness, and quality of all deliverables.
  • System Design and Architecture: Design and oversee the architecture of data systems to ensure they meet organizational and client needs.
  • Integration Management: Coordinate system integration efforts, ensuring seamless interaction between various data systems.
  • Data Governance: Develop and enforce data governance standards and policies to ensure data quality and compliance.
  • Technical Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for system architectures and integration processes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with data governance teams and other stakeholders to align system designs with business requirements.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support and guidance to project teams and clients.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement efforts in system design and data integration practices.
  • Compliance: Ensure all systems comply with relevant data governance standards and regulations.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present technical reports and system performance metrics to clients and upper management.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • 8+ years’ experience in computer programming, systems design and architecture, and information technology.
    • 5+ years’ experience with SharePoint development.
    • 5+ years of Microsoft 365/Cloud experience.
    • 5+ years of system integration experience.
    • 1 year of Collibra (Matrix) Development experience
    • 1 year of Power platform experience
  • Communication Skills: Strong speaking and writing skills.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and willing and able to apply for and hold a Public Trust position.

Additional Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Leadership: Lead technical projects to facilitate more effective data usage and meet client requirements.
  • Project Scoping: Develop project scopes, timelines, and budgets in consultation with stakeholders.
  • Coordination: Coordinate and manage technical resources, including internal teams and third-party contractors.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement efforts, monitor ongoing results, and conduct benchmarking activities.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve technical issues to eliminate or mitigate risks that may impact the success of the project.
