Chippewas of the Thames First Nation is seeking a talented 3D artist to join our team. As a 3D artist, you will have the opportunity to use your creativity and technical skills to create visually stunning digital assets. From character design and environmental modeling to animation and visual effects, your work will help bring our visions to life. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with our team to conceptualize and create original 3D assets
• Produce high-quality models, textures, and animations for use in games, videos, and virtual reality experiences
• Ensure consistency in art style and quality throughout the project
• Optimize assets for performance and file size without sacrificing overall visual quality
• Research and stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and techniques
• Assist in the implementation of assets into various platforms and systems
• Problem-solve and find creative solutions to technical challenges throughout the production process

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer animation, game design, or related field
• Proven experience as a 3D artist, with a strong portfolio demonstrating your skills and abilities
• Proficiency in industry-standard 3D software such as Maya, Blender, or 3ds Max
• Strong understanding of anatomy, form, and composition
• Familiarity with real-time engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine
• Excellent attention to detail, with a focus on realism and visual storytelling
• Ability to work well in a team environment and take direction from art leads and supervisors
