Full Job Description
The Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority (CFRTA) is seeking a dedicated and results-oriented Account Executive to develop and maintain strong client relationships within Central Florida. This individual will play a pivotal role in managing partnerships, driving revenue growth, and supporting the organization’s mission to provide efficient and accessible public transportation solutions. The Account Executive will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing existing client accounts, and promoting CFRTA services to prospective clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and business development, with a passion for enhancing public transportation and community engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and nurture relationships with new and existing clients within the Central Florida region, including corporate, government, and community partners.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction and retention.
- Develop customized transportation solutions for clients, aligning with their needs and CFRTA’s service capabilities.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase revenue and expand CFRTA’s service reach.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Conduct market research to understand client needs and identify emerging trends in transportation and mobility services.
- Lead contract negotiations with clients to secure favorable terms for CFRTA while ensuring compliance with organization policies.
- Manage and oversee the contract renewal process, working closely with legal and finance teams to finalize agreements.
- Collaborate with the marketing department to develop promotional materials, campaigns, and events to support sales efforts.
- Represent CFRTA at community events, trade shows, and industry conferences to increase brand visibility and build a positive public image.
- Track and report on sales metrics, client feedback, and market trends to support data-driven decision-making.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on sales activities, revenue forecasts, and client satisfaction metrics.
- Analyze account performance and provide insights for continuous improvement in sales strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting plus three years of experience working in accounting.
- Experience with Ceridian, Crystal and/or Great Plains Dynamics and Oracle desired.
