Goodyear Belts by Adventry Corp. is seeking an experienced Automotive and Power Transmission E-commerce Director to join our team. As a leading manufacturer and distributor of automotive and power transmission products, we are committed to providing our customers with excellent service and high-quality products. The E-commerce Director will be responsible for overseeing and driving the success of our online sales channels, including managing our website, marketplace presence, and digital marketing strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the company's e-commerce strategy to drive sales and revenue growth
- Manage the overall performance and profitability of our online sales channels
- Oversee website management, including content creation, design, and optimization
- Analyze sales data and customer behavior to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute digital marketing campaigns that increase traffic, conversion rates, and overall online sales.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales, conversion rates, and return on investment (ROI).
- Manage and optimize our presence on various online marketplaces
- Implement digital marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and drive traffic to our online platforms
- Analyze and interpret data to optimize performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and IT, to ensure a seamless online customer experience
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in e-commerce and digital marketing
- Stay informed about the latest automotive and power transmission products and market trends
- Provide leadership and guidance to the e-commerce team
- Manage relationships with vendors, partners, and third-party service providers
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in e-commerce, preferably in the automotive or power transmission industry
- Proven track record of successfully managing and growing e-commerce platforms
- Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices, digital marketing strategies, and online customer behavior
- Knowledge of website management, content creation, and optimization
- Experience with Amazon Vendor Central and Seller Central, including managing product listings, optimizing search rankings, and coordinating promotions.
- Familiarity with other major e-commerce platforms such as eBay, Walmart Marketplace, and Alibaba, including understanding their specific requirements and best practices.
- Proficient in web analytics tools and data analysis
- Excellent leadership and management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of the automotive and power transmission industry is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field
