Our exceptional clinicians also work closely with the 60+ members of the Atria Academy of Science & Medicine, top experts in their respective fields who are available for rapid consults, support, and referrals.

SUMMARY: The Barista Services role at Atria Institute holds significant importance, focusing primarily on the preparation and service of a diverse range of beverages including drip coffee, espresso-based drinks, tea, matcha, specialty juices, and other unique offerings. We seek a motivated, organized, and personable individual who embodies a passion for hospitality, culinary arts, and fostering connections with others. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages such as coffee, espresso, tea, and specialty drinks with precision and consistency.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including equipment, serving areas, and storage areas, in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee-making equipment proficiently, adjusting settings as needed.
• Tracking and ordering inventory for member pantry and beverage supplies, such as coffee beans, milks, cups and pantry items.
• Taking orders, preparing and serving food and beverage to members in a high-end service environment.
• Collaborate with the General Manager of Hospitality and Atria care team to address member needs and preferences, providing regular updates on member interactions and feedback.
• Maintaining espresso machines, grinders, coffee machines and other equipment by cleaning, troubleshooting and scheduling routine maintenance
• Assist with inventory management, including monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and rotating supplies to ensure freshness.
• Keep the work environment and member facing areas clean, sanitary and organized
• Support with moments of delight for Atria's Members based on preferences and celebratory moments.
• Stay updated on current trends in coffee culture, new brewing methods, and product offerings to provide recommendations and enhance the member experience.
• Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, tea, and product offerings.
• Reports directly to the General Manager of Hospitality

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience as barista, preferably in a high-end service setting.
• Innate hospitality and kindness
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage with diverse individuals
• Keen attention to detail and the ability to provide personalized service 
• Willingness to adhere to the uniform guidelines; uniforms will be provided for the role

REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities at once
• Experience working in fast paced start-up environment 
• 100% on site in Palm Beach, Florida
• Must be able to comply with all health and safety standards
