Neon Flux is currently hiring for our incubated brand, Remote Pharmacy.
Brand Overview: At Remote Pharmacy, we are transforming telemedicine through data-driven innovation and direct-to-consumer healthcare. Our platform connects patients with US-based healthcare practitioners and pharmacy services, providing accessible and affordable care from home.
Role Overview: The Brand Manager for Remote Pharmacy will serve as the key driver of growth and success, acting both as a heavy-handed project manager and general manager. This role requires the ability to build a startup from the ground up and manage all aspects and departments necessary to do so. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership, strategic planning, and execution capabilities to ensure continuous brand growth and excellence.
Responsibilities:
Brand Leadership:
- Strategic Oversight: Serve as the primary leader for Remote Pharmacy, overseeing all strategic and operational aspects of the brand, including developing long-term vision and growth plans.
- Brand Knowledge: Cultivate a deep understanding of Remote Pharmacy, including stakeholder dynamics, market positioning, SKU performance, target demographics, and competitive landscape. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and innovations.
- Goal Alignment: Align brand strategies with overarching business goals, ensuring all efforts contribute to achieving key milestones and growth objectives.
E-Commerce Management:
- Platform Expertise: Build and manage a robust e-commerce infrastructure, leveraging platforms such as Shopify, Sticky.io, ShipStation, PowerBI, Lifetimely, Recharge, Yotpo, and email marketing systems (e.g., Klaviyo). Ensure seamless integration and functionality.
- Operational Efficiency: Oversee subscription-based business models, CRM, order fulfillment, shipping logistics, and data analytics to optimize sales performance and customer engagement. Continuously improve processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Tool Utilization: Implement and refine e-commerce tools and platforms to enhance operational efficiency. Regularly review and update tech stack to stay ahead of market demands.
Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Actionable Plans: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop detailed, actionable plans based on overarching marketing strategies. Break down high-level strategies into executable tasks.
- Roadmap Development: Create strategic roadmaps and project plans infused with performance insights and market trends. Prioritize initiatives that drive growth and success.
- Campaign Execution: Drive the execution of marketing, creative, digital, and other channels to achieve brand objectives. Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of campaigns.
Performance Analysis and Optimization:
- Data-Driven Decisions: Regularly analyze performance marketing metrics and KPIs using tools like PowerBI, Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, Asana dashboards, and brand scorecards. Use data to inform decisions and strategies.
- Trend Identification: Identify actionable trends and optimization opportunities to enhance campaign performance and maximize ROI. Stay proactive in spotting market shifts and consumer behavior changes.
- Budget Management: Lead budget discussions and optimize marketing budgets based on performance metrics. Ensure efficient allocation of resources for maximum impact.
Cross-Functional Coordination:
- Department Alignment: Facilitate alignment across various departments (creative, strategy, operations, marketing, growth, ecommerce) to ensure cohesive execution of brand strategies. Foster a collaborative environment.
- Meeting Facilitation: Lead cross-functional meetings to review campaign performance, share insights, and discuss optimization strategies. Ensure clear communication and follow-up on action items.
Stakeholder Management:
- Primary Contact: Act as the primary point of contact for Remote Pharmacy, maintaining regular communication with stakeholders and providing strategic recommendations based on performance metrics. Ensure stakeholder satisfaction and trust.
- Relationship Building: Build and nurture strong relationships with brand stakeholders to drive collaborative success. Understand and anticipate stakeholder needs and concerns.
Proactive Communication:
- Regular Updates: Initiate regular communication with brand partners to address needs, concerns, and inquiries. Ensure transparent and open lines of communication.
- Performance Reporting: Prepare and present performance reports, insights, and strategy recommendations. Use clear and concise communication to convey complex data and insights.
Brand Guidelines and Consistency:
- Adherence to Standards: Ensure all marketing activities and deliverables adhere to brand guidelines and standards. Maintain brand integrity across all touchpoints.
- Creative Oversight: Maintain brand style guides and creative briefs for internal teams to ensure consistency. Provide guidance and feedback on creative assets.
Project Oversight:
- Project Management: Utilize project management tools like Asana to oversee client deliverables, ensuring tasks are assigned, deadlines are set, and progress is monitored for on-time and quality execution. Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Campaign Management: Manage the development and implementation of marketing campaigns, product launches, and other brand initiatives. Ensure alignment with strategic goals.
Market Insight and Competitive Analysis:
- Industry Awareness: Stay informed of industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging opportunities. Regularly conduct research to stay ahead of market developments.
- Competitive Analysis: Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify growth opportunities and inform strategic planning. Leverage insights to differentiate the brand.
Issue Resolution and Risk Management:
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve brand-related issues promptly and effectively using deep brand knowledge and performance insights. Implement proactive measures to prevent issues.
- Risk Mitigation: Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential challenges and maintain positive brand momentum. Prepare contingency plans for critical scenarios.
Team Building and Leadership:
- Team Leadership: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative environment that drives creative excellence and innovation. Provide clear direction and support.
- Expectation Management: Communicate clear expectations and priorities to internal teams, providing guidance on brand guidelines and performance metrics. Ensure team alignment and motivation.
Budget Management:
- P&L Ownership: Own the P&L for Remote Pharmacy, including investments in marketing, inventory, and overhead expenses. Ensure financial targets are met.
- Resource Allocation: Coordinate and optimize marketing budgets based on performance metrics and brand priorities. Conduct regular budget reviews and reallocations to maximize ROI.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in e-commerce, consumer SaaS, DTC, or CPG space with brand management experience.
- Proven track record of building and scaling a startup or digital-first brand from the ground up.
- Expertise in project management tools such as Asana or Notion.
- Strong background in channel expansion (Amazon, retail, wholesale, etc.) is a plus.
- Knowledge of online marketing channels (Meta, TikTok, Affiliate, Display, Programmatic, Amazon PPC).
- Experience as a P&L owner, responsible for budgets, driving revenue, and bottom-line growth.
- Strong prioritization skills and ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
