Breast Pathologist

he Breast Pathologist is responsible for the diagnosis and management of breast diseases, including benign and malignant tumors. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of breast pathology and be able to provide expert diagnostic services to patients.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and classify breast lesions using a variety of techniques, including histopathology, immunohistochemistry, and molecular testing
• Provide consultations to clinicians on the management of breast diseases
• Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with breast cancer
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
• Conduct research to improve the diagnosis and treatment of breast diseases
• Attend conferences and workshops to stay up-to-date on the latest advances in breast pathology

Qualifications:

• MD degree from an accredited medical school
• Board certification in anatomic pathology
• Fellowship training in breast pathology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong research skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
