Duties and Responsibilities
• Learn and apply Select Development Group standard operating procedures to any work completed
• Welcome and assist all visitors in identifying the purpose of their visit and courteously guide them to the appropriate department
• Answer incoming phone calls, respond to voicemails, and respond to emails in a prompt, professional manner
• Provide administrative assistance, such as drafting and editing emails, memos, calendars, appointment reminders, and other communications on behalf of executives
• Provide administrative support such as setting up filing systems, data entry, typing, copying, ordering
office supplies, and other general office duties to assist the team with agendas and appointments
• Maintain accurate, comprehensive records
• Organize meetings and events, including scheduling, sending reminders, and preparing the meeting space
• Assist with onsite meetings by taking detailed notes and providing recaps to attendees and executives
• Cultivate solid and meaningful relationships with community leaders and local government bodies
• Acquire all information for new vendors/subcontractors/suppliers promptly to maintain project schedules while maintaining organization within Buildertrend
• Assist with new vendor set-ups and certificates of insurance
• Responsible for submitting and tracking all permits and providing frequent status updates
• Aiding with the creation or editing of submittal logs
• Establishing and monitoring direct material purchases, commitments, and direct purchase orders
• Working closely with the project teams to assemble and collect all closeout documents
• Coordinating and maintaining job-specific resources, such as the job site trailer, office, company vehicles, maintenance, supplies, and plans

• Outstanding communicator: able to synthesize complex information into simple, actionable insights and communicate technical building processes with construction and non-construction team members equally
• Commitment to providing a positive experience for all project stakeholders, clients, design professionals, subcontractors, and team members
• Strong personal integrity and the highest ethical standards
• Able to function in a positive, friendly, high-energy, and collaborative environment
• Commitment to mastering and developing your career and personal goals through continual learning opportunities such as Buildertrend Academy
• Passionate about learning and applying new technologies, concepts, and innovative solutions.
• Entrepreneurial team player who can multitask, work well under pressure, and efficiently meet deadlines
• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, DocuSign, and Bluebeam
• Ability to read plans and building specs
• Familiarity with permitting systems
• 2+ years of experience in a construction-related industry preferred
• A degree in construction management or business administration is preferred
• Strong understanding of OSHA and other pertinent laws and regulations
• Notary Public (within 30 days)
• Buildertrend Certification (within 30 days)
• Bluebeam Certification (within 30 days)
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to pass a background check
• Authorized to work in the United States
