Full Job Description
Quality Technician
Responsible for the Quality of products by completing inspections and ensuring product conformity to established AS9100 requirements. Evaluates product to engineering drawings, specifications, and other related quality documents.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality inspections and tests on products.
- Document inspection results and compile reports.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure quality standards.
- Calibrate and maintain inspection equipment.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience with quality control procedures and methodologies.
- GD&T Experience is required for this position.
- Proficiency in using measurement and inspection tools.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Basic understanding of CNC machining processes.
Responsibilities:
o Operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to measure dimensions
of products.
o Interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
o Program CMM for new product measurements.
o Maintain CMM equipment and troubleshoot issues.
Skills and Qualifications:
o Experience operating and programming CMM.
o Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
o Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
o Familiarity with CAD software is a plus.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift 15 lbs. when required. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
