Day Care Director

Astatula Baptist Church and ABC Learning Center are seeking a dedicated and experienced candidate for the position of Day Care Director. As the Day Care Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and providing leadership to our daycare facility.

Our ideal candidate is passionate about teaching and making an impact on children both developmentally and spiritually.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the daycare center
• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise daycare staff members
• Create and maintain a safe and nurturing environment for children
• Manage the financial aspects of the daycare center, including budgeting, invoicing, and record keeping
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress, activities, and any concerns
• Ensure compliance with all relevant licensing and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate and plan age-appropriate activities and educational programs for the children
• Maintain inventory and order necessary supplies and equipment
• Handle any issues or emergencies that may arise, ensuring the safety and well-being of the children

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred

Director Credential

Previous leadership experience in a daycare or preschool setting

Strong knowledge of licensing and regulatory requirements

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong organizational and time management skills

Background screening and criminal history check
