We are seeking a Director of International Student Affairs, your mission is to significantly enhance our international student intake and retention, ensuring that a year from now and beyond, our institution is recognized for its outstanding support and integration of international students.
They ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes:
OUTCOMES:
- Establish Productive Relationships with Agents:
- Achieve new student intake targets for the international market, with minimal attrition.
- Establish services to support a continuous census of international students.
- Attract transfer students and recruit new F1/M1 students.
- Ensure retention, academic progression, and program completion benchmarks are achieved.
COMPETENCIES:
- Student Recruitment:
- Develop and execute strategies and communication plans to achieve enrollment targets.
- Manage leads, build pipelines, and oversee the entire student journey from lead to matriculation.
- Support employer-funded or apprenticeship program initiatives.
- Build and maintain a high-performing enrollment services team aligned with FVI's mission.
- Set clear expectations, goals, and key metrics.
- Analyze data to create coaching and development plans.
- Foster a culturally respectful and inclusive work environment.
- Train and support enrollment services representatives to adhere to all applicable standards.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and accrediting agency regulations.
- Collaborate with the management team to achieve desired outcomes in student satisfaction and key performance metrics.
- Develop and implement short- and long-term strategies to achieve recruitment objectives.
