Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research on companies and industries, utilizing various sources such as financial statements, industry reports, and news articles
- Analyze financial data and performance indicators to evaluate investment opportunities
- Prepare research reports and presentations, summarizing findings and making investment recommendations
- Monitor and track the performance of existing investments and make recommendations for adjustments as needed
- Collaborate with other team members and portfolio managers to develop investment strategies
- Stay up-to-date with market trends, economic developments, and industry news
- Assist with ad-hoc projects and assignments as required
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field
- Previous experience in equity research or a related field is highly preferred
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to analyze financial statements and interpret data
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present research findings
- Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
