Summary
We have an amazing opportunity for an energetic and organized individual to join the Finexio team who is passionate about Human Resources and has strong Generalist experience. We're looking for someone who is a doer and a builder and has been part of or has lead building out the Human Resources function. This person will hunt to find the best new hires, support and grow our people and their managers, works quickly and efficiently to build up process and structure around the organization, truly believes the devil is in the details, and likes going above and beyond the status quo to ensure Finexio is a fantastic place to work. The ideal candidate will provide generalist expertise, advice, and counsel in areas including recruiting, compensation, benefits, employment law, health and safety, workers' compensation, organizational development, performance management, onboarding, training, and business operating needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Been a key part of solo developing or jointly building out a people function at a growing organization
- Built out a Human Resources Function/Department and provided counsel to Leadership regarding Human Resource topics
- Find, entice, and close the absolute best talent in the payments industry to join the Finexio team in a timely manner.
- Ideally they have standard metrics/reporting they use to measure their Talent Acquisition progress/success.
- Manage the full recruitment cycle for all assigned requisitions, including requisition creation, candidate sourcing, screening/interviewing & recruiting, offer negotiation, and appropriate administration
- Deliver results in 100% remote work environment now, and in a flex working model in 2024 and beyond.
- Develop and track measurable facets of the recruiting and hiring process so that the processes are transparent and measurable
- Partner with managers to evaluate current team structure and skills, org design, talent gaps and hiring plan to achieve business goals
- Develop and deliver management training to enhance leadership and organizational effectiveness.
- Understand Finexio’s mission, vision and values and maintain a culture that supports them
- Own front line employee support. This means you have the distinct honor of connecting with our employees, and supervisors, and refer complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Lead performance review and feedback process to drive a culture of feedback and learning
- Oversee training initiatives and development opportunities for employees
- Facilitate on-boarding and off-boarding of employees. Responsible for coordination of all background checks, employment verifications, mandated training, benefits enrollment, new hire technology requests and entry into our payroll system.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date policies, benefits info, new hire resources, and more in our internal knowledge center.
- Executes tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to, benefits, payroll, performance reviews, performance and talent management, and managing HR vendors.
- Document process flows internally and externally.
- Build credible relationships with Business Leaders allowing for better decisions and organizational effectiveness.
- Must be located in Central Florida required.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will be a resourceful, detail-oriented individual who is passionate about employees and delivers a great employee experience. They should be a self-starter, ready to take on complex tasks with a collaborative mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- 5 years' Human Resources experience in Finance and/or SaaS environment (payments a plus)
- Microsoft Office knowledge intermediate to expert required, power user a plus- MS Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
- Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws and procedures as well as employee relations procedures and applicable law
- PHR or SHRM-CP certifications preferred
- Startup experience highly preferred
- Must demonstrate a high level of trust, confidentiality, and good judgment
- Must have superior oral and written communication skills and an ability to communicate with all levels of management and company personnel
- High Emotional Intelligence: Skilled in understanding and managing personal emotions and empathizing with others.

Compensation: $90,000-$125,000
