Hire Resolve US is currently partnering with a leading architecture, engineering, and consulting firm in search of a Senior Interior Designer to join their Healthcare team in Orlando, FL.
In this role, you'll handle medium to large projects with various complexities. You'll coordinate projects, possibly leading a team of designers. Your main responsibilities include interpreting, organizing, and executing assignments.
You'll need a strong understanding of design principles and concepts to make independent decisions on technical issues. This role involves using advanced techniques and adapting theories to develop new products or processes that impact functional requirements.
- Defines project elements and processes to meet client needs, participating in estimates and bid preparations, and coordinates with various disciplines for contract performance.
- Plans and develops design projects with unique complexities, impacting major company programs, exploring subject areas, defining scope, and developing novel concepts.
- Participates in conceptual design and provides full project support, coordinating with project management, architects, and other stakeholders for technical solutions.
- Promotes and maintains client relationships throughout all project phases, contributing to winning new work.
- Represents the lead technical viewpoint, serves as a subject matter expert, and applies advanced concepts to challenging assignments.
- Reviews junior staff's work for accuracy, provides technical guidance, and may lead multidisciplinary teams.
- Performs quality control reviews, ensures key milestones are achieved, and conducts field inspections to ensure adherence to architectural plans.
- Maintains professional registration and licensure, staying updated on building codes and regulations.
- May supervise direct reports, including hiring, coaching, and performance management.
- Performs all assigned duties within the scope of practice.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field from an accredited university
- 10+ years of relevant design experience
- NCIDQ certification required
- EDAC Certification is advantageous
- LEED and/or WELL accreditation is beneficial
- Previous experience in Healthcare is essential
