About the Role 

As an Investor Relations Analyst with WM Partners, you will play a pivotal role in managing relationships with our investors, providing them with timely and accurate information, and supporting fundraising efforts. You will focus on new fund launches, investor due diligence, onboarding and correspondence. Additionally, you will monitor and communicate the on-going performance of current portfolio companies.  

Responsibilities 

• Participate in fundraising presentations and prepare investor presentations  
• Support all fundraising efforts (develop fund strategy, prepare marketing materials, maintain dataroom, in addition to responsibilities below)  
• Maintain investor pipeline and memorialize all interactions  
• Work with the team in preparing the funds’ Annual Meeting logistics and slides 

• Work with IR team, Controller and fund administrator on developing quarterly and annual reports and any additional reporting of investment and portfolio performance  
• Help further develop the firm’s marketing strategy and firm’s presence in the marketplace (ad hoc work with Director of Marketing) 
• Take lead on industry and competitive market research  
• Respond in a timely and professional manner to investors’ due diligence questions and reporting requests (ie: questionnaires, quarterly portfolio company stats, fund performance, etc) 
• Maintain up to date the funds’ performance in PE platforms ie: Pitchbook, Preqin, Stepstone benchmarks  
• Diligence investors prior to meetings  
• Financial modeling  
• Work with deal team to monitor the on-going performance of portfolio company investments to be able to communicate to investors 

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field 

• 1-2 years of relevant experience including asset management, private banking, investment banking, capital markets, private equity, hedge funds  
• Strong undergraduate track record from a top institution  
• Strong presentation & PowerPoint skills 
• Strong research skills and ability to create industry and competitive analyses 
• Financial and excel modeling experience  
• Strong written and oral communication skills; bilingual in English and Spanish highly desired  
• Ability to juggle and prioritize multiple projects at one time  
• Interested in/passion for working with investors  
• Exceptional attention to detail; process information with speed and accuracy  
• Highly motivated team player with a desire to work in a flat organizational environment  
• Flexible and adaptable personal style with innate curiosity  
• High level of maturity and sound judgment 
• Desire to help build a global franchise
