Full Job Description
WWC Global is seeking a skilled IT Business Analyst to join our team of professionals in support of the Joint Special Operations University (JSOU) Virtual Education Environment (VEE) at United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). As an IT Business Analyst at WWC Global, you will be responsible for analyzing the business needs of our clients and providing strategic recommendations for technology solutions to improve their operations and meet their objectives. This role requires strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, and the use of modern technologies to enhance and streamline business processes.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into functional and technical specifications for the development team.
- Conduct business process analysis and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Perform basic data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights for informed decision-making.
- Design and document system use cases, workflows, and user stories based on business requirements.
- Work closely with developers, testers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of technology solutions.
- Facilitate meetings and workshops with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements, resolve issues, and present deliverables.
- Create and deliver presentations and training to effectively communicate solutions and recommendations to clients.
- Perform various Tier I-II support activities as needed, related to customer/stakeholder issues or requirements within the Virtual Education Environment (VEE).
Work Environment:
- Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone and printers) and /or occasional Loud noise (airfield, large equipment).
- Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.
Physical Demands:
- While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to sit, stand, talk, and hear.
- Employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers to operate a computer.

Travel:

Requirements
Basic Qualifications
- Associate's Degree.
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance. (Eligible to pass Federal security clearance process. Please visit the link for FAQs: https://www.dcsa.mil/mc/pv/mbi/gicp/) .
- Strong understanding of Agile project management methodologies.
- CompTIA Security+ certification (or acquired within 6 months of start date).
- Familiarity with SharePoint/M365 tools and functionality.
- Outstanding communication skills, influencing abilities, and client focus.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office applications.
- Professional proficiency in English is required.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. WWC Global will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Current, active Secret security clearance.
- Previous experience supporting USSOCOM.
