Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven individual to lead technical direction in manufacturing processes at our Randleman plant. This role offers a unique opportunity to spearhead the development and implementation of plant information systems and architecture, enhancing CAD, KBE, and MES functionalities. As a senior member of our team, you will blend technical expertise with leadership in applications development, driving forward critical projects and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solve complex engineering system issues related to MES, ensuring accurate program delivery to the shop floor.
- Lead improvements in systems architecture, including technical infrastructure and interface enhancements for machine and operator instructions.
- Demonstrate leadership in deploying CAD/CAM/CAE technologies and shop floor information systems.
- Manage end-to-end lifecycle of systems projects, from planning and testing to execution and integration.
- Provide technical support, troubleshoot user issues, and communicate solutions effectively across departments.
- Maintain and optimize integration between manufacturing and business systems to enhance operational efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and major development efforts to support plant operations.
- Gain deep understanding of business processes and technical architecture to streamline manufacturing processes.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent required
Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as PLSQL, SQL, Java, or similar.
- 2 years of experience required; 5 years preferred in a manufacturing environment with automated engineering systems.
