The Marketing Generalist position will be responsible for developing and executing a clearly defined marketing strategy that will generate consistent and substantial business growth. This individual will work with the CEO to manage marketing programs in specific channels, support business objectives, support acquisition, execute business development, provide sales support, and advance brand building in alignment with the company’s strategic direction. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on marketing professional with a passion for the job, knowledge of digital and content marketing, design concepts, able to employ unique marketing techniques.
Marketing Generalist Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with sales team to develop branding messages.
- Collects and compiles customer feedback in an easily reviewed and understood format for review by company management and leadership.
- Collects and maintains sales records required to track, review, and modify performance of marketing initiatives.
- Forecasts and analyzes sales trends, marketing strategies, and product performance; prepares and presents reports summarizing information; makes recommendations based on analysis.
- Develops and distributes materials related to sales, training, and marketing.
- Collaborating with the CEO to design and implement marketing strategies for targeted markets to create awareness of the company’s business activities.
- Communicate the company’s brand message both internally and externally, including development of collateral design, product campaigns, and overall communication.
- Manage website, social channels, develop content for blogs, newsletters, content for industry publications, and any other piece of communication to our customers and media.
- Produce ideas for promotional events or activities and organize them efficiently.
- Collaborate with sales team and provide copies when needed.
- Conduct general market research to keep abreast of trends and competitor’s marketing movements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required, in marketing or communications.
- 1-2 years’ experience in product or portfolio marketing
- Excellent organizing skills
- Analytical and creative thinking
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with content development and writing
- Experience developing go-to-market messaging and positioning for services/solutions
- Experience developing and executing successful marketing and sales enablement strategies
- In depth digital content, online marketing techniques and best practices
- Thorough knowledge of web analytics (e.g. Google Analytics, WebTrends, WordPress, etc.) and Google Adwords
- Customer-oriented approach with aptitude
- Ability to navigate and collaborate across multiple brands
- Ability to work fast under pressure and deliver results
- Must be proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft 365

- Social media platforms
- JotForm
- Canva
- Google AD’s
- SEO
