Tampa Bay Florida, Orthopedic Subspecialty Group is looking to add a MD/DO fellowship trained Orthopedic Foot & Ankle Surgeon to join our expanding practice. We are looking for highly motivated, energetic, and enthusiastic candidates, who work well with others. Prefer fellows completing fellowships in July 2025.
Our practice is located in St. Petersburg and Bradenton, Florida. Downtown St. Petersburg is a vibrant, culturally rich city with abundant restaurants, nightlife, waterfront, and arts. Just 15 minutes from beautiful beaches and 20 minutes from downtown Tampa Bay, there are endless opportunities to explore.
Candidates will be working with a busy senior Foot and Ankle surgeon. The position will be available for partnership track. We have a competitive benefit and compensation package. Area of Clinic practice is St. Petersburg and Bradenton Florida. Our office facilities include Surgery Centers, MRI’s & Physical Therapy on site. All candidates must have/ obtain a current Florida License. Must be BE/BC. Orthopedic residency is required. Serious Candidates only please.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and assessments for foot and ankle disorders.
- Perform various surgical procedures, including reconstructive surgeries, arthroscopies, and complex fracture repairs.
- Develop and oversee individualized post-operative care plans.
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physiotherapists and specialists in pain management.
- Stay informed on current trends, treatments, and advanced techniques in the field of foot and ankle surgery.
- Educate patients on surgical options, recovery processes, and preventative measures.
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Completion of an orthopedic surgery residency program.
- Fellowship training in orthopedic foot and ankle surgery.
- Board certified or board eligible in orthopedic surgery.
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of Florida.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
