At Atria, we are recruiting for a Part-time Mammography Technologist at our Palm Beach Office. This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing company committed to changing the world. You will work with prominent clinicians and use state-of-the-art equipment to deliver the best care possible.
Under direct supervision, you will:
- Conduct imaging in accordance with Atria safety protocols, policies, and procedures
- Use proper patient positioning tools, devices, equipment adjustment, and ergonomically correct scanning techniques to ensure patient comfort and safety
- Assume responsibility for the safety of the patient during the imaging and communicate in a manner appropriate to the patient’s ability to understand
- Except as authorized by clinical management, refer specific diagnostic, treatment or prognosis questions to the appropriate physician or healthcare professional
- May help the team by performing other imaging modalities (mammography, MRI Focus, and CT)
Requirements
Job Requirements:
- Vocational or Technical School Diploma required
- Current New York State License required
- Current ARRT registration required
- 2+ years’ experience as a Radiation Technologist for Mammography
- Experience with other modalities a plus
- Compassionate and effective communicator with strong tact and diplomacy
