Our software enables a consistent charging experience across all charge point brands and we empower charge point owners with a full-fledged solution to attract users and seamlessly manage usage, pricing, availability, and transactions.
We’ve closed a huge Series B round! 80M EUR and soaring! Our journey so far? An expansion across various markets, prestigious #ISO27001 and B-Corp certifications, and proactive tech revolutionizing the EV charging experience. Not to mention, our growth has skyrocketed 6X since the last round, nearing 1 million monthly charging sessions, and 1,000 #EV drivers joining us daily! Monta will use the 80M EUR funding to double down on its successful software-only strategy by strengthening investments in all markets and improving and expanding its product to new sectors ready to embark on an electrified future.
Join Monta’s innovative People & Culture team as a People Operations Partner in our brand new Miami office. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the development and scaling of our newly established US organization while championing an exceptional employee experience. As a key member of our team, you'll have the unique opportunity to oversee all aspects of US People Operations and play a vital role in international initiatives. (Some) of the things you will be doing:
Your main goal is to manage the entire employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding, prioritizing an exceptional employee experience throughout, including;
- Playing a crucial role in fostering employee engagement and driving talent management strategies.
- Leading the seamless transition from our EOR provider to PEO provider, Trinet, for effective contract administration of our US employees.
- Contributing to defining and managing local benefits packages for our employees.
- Coordinating input for the US payroll process to ensure accurate and timely payments.
- Curating and updating our internal knowledge base (Notion) to enhance accessibility and efficiency for all teams.
- Proactively leading engagement, attraction, recognition, and development initiatives within the organization.
- Championing our company culture through the design and implementation of culture-strengthening initiatives.
- Staying updated on legal requirements to mitigate risks and ensure regulatory compliance in day-to-day operations.
- Collaborating with the People & Culture team on strategic projects and HR analytics.
- Handling complex HR situations as they arise with professionalism and tact.
- Partnering with different departments, within as well as outside of the P&C team, to ensure a cohesive and outstanding employee experience across the entire cycle.
- Updating and implementing processes and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
- Maintaining meticulous records, documentation, and filings to ensure compliance and data integrity throughout the organization.

Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in people operations/HR roles, ideally within a high-growth environment.
- Strong expertise in HR best practices, employment laws, and regulatory compliance.
- Proven track record in employee relations, performance management, and talent development.
- Exceptional emotional intelligence (EQ), complemented by strong problem-solving abilities and keen instincts.
- Demonstrated analytical acumen and sound decision-making skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and adeptness in handling dynamic information.
- Outstanding communication, facilitation, and influencing skills.
- Ability to translate data insights into actionable business language to drive informed decisions.
- Exceptional leadership skills coupled with a strategic mindset to align HR initiatives with business objectives.
- Proficiency in people tools and advanced people analytics.
- Deep commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive work culture.
- Team player who acts with a sense of urgency and adapts to a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
- Comfortable with high volume and fast-paced workload; not afraid to "roll up your sleeves" to complete more tactical work. Able to switch between strategic and tactical work daily.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
