We are currently looking for premier Pool Mechanics to join our team in the Tampa Bay Area. Pool Mechanics is a Safety Sensitive Position that maintains, repairs and replaces the residential pool equipment, plumbing, electrical and ancillary pool systems of Clients for proper function, performance and safety. To detect, assess, diagnose, and repair any potential leaks or mechanical issues; and communicate the results to both the Client and to the Vice President, Operating Partner through oral, written and/or computer communication.
Pay ranges from $865 to $1,250 a week plus commission!
- Responsible for installation, repairs, and maintenance of residential and commercial pool equipment

Job Duties
- Examine and inspect swimming pool components, including motor, pumps, timers, skimmers and drains to locate cracks, breaks, leaks, or other problems
- Conduct routine and special inspections
- Read and interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and other specifications to determine the feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components
- Follow drawings, schematics, charts, engineering orders, and technical publications
- Maintain repair logs, documenting all preventive and corrective swimming pool maintenance
- Replace or repair worn, defective, or damaged components
- Install and align repaired or replacement parts for subsequent riveting, using clamps and wrenches
- Check for corrosion, distortion, and invisible cracks in the swimming pools pump system
- To stay current with the NEC, and Local, State and Federal Pool Codes and notify management and other Mechanics of -changes that affect company operations
- Communicate succinctly with customers on status of pool system
- Other reasonable duties, as assigned by management

Requirements
- Must have a current and valid driver’s license issued by a valid state agency
- Must not have a conviction of a felony or 1st class misdemeanor involving crimes against a person or child, crimes against property, theft or fraud, or drug crimes related to trafficking or manufacture.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior mechanic experience is a requirement

Requirements

- At least one-year prior pool repair experience required
