Project Management Support

Qualis Corporation is seeking a Senior Project Manager to provide Advisory and Assistance Support (A&AS) functions to 96th Range Support Squadron, Target Systems Flight (96 RANSS/RNRT).

This position is located at Eglin AFB, FL.

Essential Functions

·         Manage target acquisition programs, executing acquisitions using all methods/sources available to the Air Force.

·         Support product delivery, inspection acceptance activities and providing programmatic support for target I&M programs or other funding source programmatic efforts.

·         Provide support for the integration, communication, coordination, organizational, and planning for technical and acquisition management efforts across a broad spectrum of functional disciplines.

·         Interface with the O&M Contractor, LMCA, DRMO, 96th Logistics Readiness Squadron (96 LRS), and a myriad of test programs. This support encompasses participation in test support meetings, ensuring proper target allocation, transport, and ensuring positioning information is available.

·         Identify possible problem areas during the target acquisition phase and recommend probable solutions for successful project support.

·         Provide real time data inputs to effect management decisions. This support requires independent research in conjunction with other on base organizations to gather new data not previously collected.

·         Responsible for the research, assimilation, establishment of proper format, and reporting of data, based on initial direction provided by the Government.

·         Research and provide inventory and cost data for further management analysis to programmatic inputs and research, analyze, and recommend multiple sources of information in providing inventory, cost, program test schedule and utilization data for input to the relevant Project Management product.

·         Manage various contracting efforts alongside Government RNRT counterparts to effectively fulfill target asset requirements and customer needs.

Requirements

·         Requires a Master’s Degree and 10 years of experience. Substitution of experience for education considered with customer approval.

·         Experience with Air Force funding streams, Eglin Range, threats, and mobile targets are preferred.

·         Experience with various contract types used for acquisitions and services is preferred.

·         Required to work independently and make spot recommendations based on Government requirements.

·         Must be able to manage multiple project support tasks with minimal initial guidance.

·         Must have an understanding of the specific procedures and processes of the Air Force Test Center and DoD regulations and guidelines.

·         Must have the ability to quickly understand the customers overall technical objectives and provide effective solutions.

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with customer interaction and presentation capabilities required.

·         Must exemplify a dedication to achieving the mission of the 96TW as well as high standards of quality and excellence in performing the duties.

·         Must be able to work effectively alone, unsupervised, or within a group.

·         Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while being able to prioritize work to balance multiple projects and deadlines.

·         Must be willing to travel up to 5%.

·         US Citizenship required.

Security Clearance

Must hold an active Department of Defense Secret Security Clearance with investigation within 5 years
