Full Job Description
Aviation Parts Executive, Inc. is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Purchasing Coordinator to join our procurement team. The ideal candidate will monitor supplier performance, analyze pricing trends (highs and lows), and coordinate order schedules to ensure smooth operations. This role involves working closely with both internal teams and external suppliers to optimize purchasing activities and maintain inventory levels for our aircraft parts distribution.
Schedule: 8AM-5PM

Salary: $40,000-50,000 Annually

Responsibilities
- Track and analyze pricing trends (highs and lows) for each manufacturer and supplier to support procurement decisions.
- Plan, schedule, and place purchase orders to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Build and maintain relationships with domestic and international suppliers to negotiate pricing and delivery timelines.
- Monitor and track open orders to ensure on-time deliveries, resolving any discrepancies.
- Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to coordinate the receipt of goods.
- Maintain accurate records of supplier information, order history, and pricing in Quantum Control or other ERP systems.
- Create reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and inventory trends to present to management.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings through better supplier management and sourcing strategies.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; an associate or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or a related field is preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain, preferably within the aviation or manufacturing sectors.
- Experience with ERP systems (Quantum Control experience is a plus).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make recommendations.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of aircraft parts or the aviation industry is preferred but not required.
