Welcome to Corvo & Calas, a dynamic boutique law firm located in Miami Lakes! We are currently seeking a Reception, File and Receivables Clerk to join our team. As the primary client satisfaction and customer service officer, the Clerk plays a crucial role in ensuring that our clients receive exceptional service from the moment they walk through our doors.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the office's clerical operations including answering phones, opening and managing files, scheduling appointments, managing calendars, maintaining office supplies, maintaining conference rooms, and processing incoming and outgoing correspondence. You will also handle receivables, including posting payments and processing client billing. Additionally, you will provide general clerical support to ensure that our daily operations run smoothly.
Requirements
To excel in this position, you should be fully bilingual in Spanish and English, with excellent grammar and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite is a must, and being extremely punctual and dependable with great attention to detail is essential. Previous experience in customer service would be beneficial, as you will be interacting with clients and handling various customer personalities and issues. As a valuable team member, you should be adaptable and able to handle diverse projects, welcoming changes in your tasks and objectives depending on the needs of the office.
This is a full-time, in-person position, so reliability and commitment are key. A high school degree is required, with college education preferred. Please note that lifting and moving boxes weighing 10 lbs or more may be necessary in this role, and a background check will be conducted. You will also be required to go to the post office, bank, and storage facility nearby so dependable transportation is a must.
