Global Dimensions LLC is dedicated to providing exceptional support to our nation's defense and security efforts. We are currently seeking highly qualified Regional Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to join our team at MacDill Air Force Base, FL, and play a vital role in filling key positions within the USSOCOM J5 Directorate.
Job Overview:
As a Regional Subject Matter Expert (SME) at Global Dimensions LLC, your role is pivotal in providing analysis, assessment, and related written products in support of SOF global strategy development, planning, and campaigning. You will collaborate closely with leadership to contribute to the deep situational understanding required for timely and critical decisions within the SOF Enterprise.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide analysis, assessment, and related written products in support of SOF global strategy development, planning, and campaigning. The Contractor shall perform tasks such as:
• Provide SMEs with the geopolitical expertise necessary to conduct strategic studies and assessments for the analysis, assessment, and synchronization of the command strategy, command policy, action plan, and strategic assessment. Specifically, provide a SME with deep geopolitical, cultural, and situational understanding for each of the following: China, DPRK, Russia, Iran, and VEOs.
• Provide SMEs with knowledge of the joint strategic planning system, operational art, and operational design.
• Conduct strategic analysis and command assessments to provide senior leaders the deep situational understanding they required to make timely and critical decisions for the SOF Enterprise.
• Develop/leverage professional relationships from across the DoD, interagency, and intelligence community to deliver precise and unique regional and country-specific perspectives to USSOCOM’s senior leaders.
• Develop products and participate in meetings to advise, counsel, and prepare USSOCOM’s senior leaders for strategic level engagements and inform their decisions to best effect DoD policies and future strategies.
• Support USSOCOM J5 planning efforts and seamlessly integrate SOF equities into OPLANs, CONPLANs, and Global Campaign Plans (GCP).
• Provide planners with the critical information needed to develop concepts, operational approaches, assessments, and readiness reviews.
• Support and promote superior decision-making via continuous coordination across the combatant command.
• Support the development of USSOCOM strategic documents by providing subject matter expertise, document preparation and coordination, in-depth analysis of strategic factors, data collection and analysis, seminar/symposium, conference, and war-game participation.
• Research and analyze various DOD, Interagency, Service, and Combatant Command policies, strategies and concepts associated with USSOCOM strategy and missions.
• Provide strategic planning and analysis for current contingency plans, including the USSOCOM Global Campaign Plan and other plans.
• Develop, analyze, and compare alternative USSOCOM strategies to align USSOCOM plans and operations with the national-level strategic guidance and direction, including the National Defense Strategy (NDS), Unified Command Plan (UCP), National Military Strategy (NMS), National Strategy for Combating Terrorism (NS-CT), Contingency Planning Guidance (CPG) Guidance for Employment of the Force (GEF), and the National Military Strategic Plan for the War on Terrorism (NMSP-WOT).
• Provide analysis for strategic planning meetings, briefings, seminars, and strategy war games, and provide required SOF subject matter expertise to events related to the future operating environment and interoperability of SOF.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- 3 years strategy and regional experience (one person for each of the specified regions), preferably SOF-related, working at a DoD Combatant Command OR, Joint Staff OR a 4-Star Command within the past 10 years.
- 3 years’ experience conducting strategic/regional studies and assessments for the analysis, and synchronization of the command strategy.
- Senior Service College and/or Master’s Degree, preferably in strategic studies, political science, International Affairs/Relations or other related field.
- 1 year experience using web-based programs such as, social media platforms, and ALL Microsoft Office products (i.e., SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel).
- Active TOP SECRET clearance. Eligible for SCI.
