Working in unison with our Bermuda-based client, Relm Insurance Ltd., Arora offers integrated and efficient solutions in a customized and effective manner. Our range of services includes underwriting support, policy administration, research, and analysis to accounting and human resource functions, among other areas. We operate in a dynamic market that requires flexibility, creativity, critical thinking, excellent customer service, and the ability to execute.

 

What We Are Looking For

The Reinsurance Intern will support the Reinsurance Department in various administrative tasks, including data entry, documentation, and communication management. This role provides exposure to the fundamental aspects of reinsurance operations and offers an excellent foundation for a career in insurance.

 

What You Will Do

  • Assist with data entry and maintenance of reinsurance records and databases.
  • Support the administration of reinsurance contracts, including filing and organizing documents.
  • Help prepare and distribute reinsurance documentation, reports, and presentations.
  • Coordinate communication between internal departments and external partners.
  • Conduct research on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory updates.
  • Assist in scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and taking meeting minutes.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of reinsurance transactions and communications.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Reinsurance Department as needed.
  • Participate in special projects and initiatives aimed at improving reinsurance processes and efficiencies.
  • Attend departmental meetings and training sessions to gain a deeper understanding of reinsurance operations.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Risk Management, Insurance, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Eagerness to learn and a proactive approach to tasks and responsibilities.
