Position Location: Panama City, FL (NAVSCOLEOD )
The Contractor shall:
- Assist the Facility Security Officer.
- Enter and update security clearance and access data for staff and students in DISS and check daily (i.e., workday) for visit requests; and coordinate and assist staff and students with background investigation submissions, schedule applicants background investigation interview with the Defense Security Service Investigator, and check DISS daily for adjudication updates.
- Maintain unclassified files, correspondence, forms, regulations, directives, letters, and other publications related to Personnel and Information Security Programs, and requisition office supplies through the Command Supply Department.
- Administer the security check-in and checkout process of staff and students, and security requirements for visitors.
- Prescreen SAAR-N forms and forward to the Security Manager for signature.
- Assist command personnel with foreign travel request submissions in the Travel Tracker/Individual Anti-Terrorism Plan and Aircraft and Personnel Automated Clearance System systems (i.e., websites), and monitor the systems for approvals.
Requirements
- Must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience with Navy Information and Personnel Security Programs, and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- Will be required to follow all Federal COVID-19 protocols as they pertain to contractors.
Physical Requirements:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.
- Light to moderate lifting may be required.
- Regular, predictable attendance is required.
