Supply Chain Manager

Walnut Way Conservation Corp. is on the lookout for a dynamic Supply Chain Manager to spearhead our efforts in optimizing procurement and logistics to support our mission of community empowerment and sustainability.

As the Supply Chain Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless flow of materials and services essential for our initiatives. This position requires a keen understanding of sustainable practices and the ability to foster relationships with vendors while maintaining cost-effectiveness and quality.

Your responsibilities will include developing strategic supply chain initiatives, managing inventory levels, and coordinating with various departments to forecast needs and enhance operational efficiency. You’ll also be responsible for mentoring team members and driving ongoing improvements to meet our organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and implement effective supply chain strategies to align with organizational objectives.
• Oversee procurement processes, ensuring excellent relationships with suppliers and negotiating contracts.
• Manage inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment to meet program needs.
• Analyze performance metrics and identify opportunities for enhancement in operations.
• Collaborate with various teams to forecast material needs and support overall mission success.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in procurement.
• Mentor and train team members in supply chain best practices.
• Prepare reports on supply chain performance for management review.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in supply chain management or relevant role.
• Strong understanding of supply chain processes, procurement, and logistics.
• Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to manage supplier relationships.
• Proficient in supply chain management software and analytics tools.
• Strong analytical capabilities with a data-driven mindset.
• Exceptional communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
• Passion for sustainability and commitment to community-oriented solutions.
• Advanced degree or relevant professional certification is a plus.
