Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept

As the Talent Scout and People Builder, you will be our tip-of-the-spear people person.  You will be an integral part of the TheIncLab team—not an outside recruiter.  You must be able to source and attract top talent that has both the technical experience required for our open positions, but also the passion and commitment to contribute to TheIncLab’s vision, mission and community. 

Inside the company you will be a leader that helps our people develop and grow to maximize their potential.  You will also be essential in reinforcing TheIncLab’s people-centered culture and continuously learning environment.      

The ideal candidate for this mission is someone who is outgoing, creative, proactive, and equipped with exceptional networking and relationship building skills.  You will deploy a variety of technical search tools and use your adept people skills to identify and recruit great people.  Be prepared to learn and explain the nature of the technical software development and engineering roles we hire for.       

Core Responsibilities

  • Source, evaluate, and review potential software development and engineering candidates utilizing existing networks, recruitment tools, cold calls, college job boards, social networks, internal databases, etc.
  • Work with group leaders and staff to ensure smooth candidate interview and hiring experience and outcomes.
  • Lead initiatives to develop staff, increase learning and career experiences, and maintain our positive culture as we grow.
  • Develop community partnerships, and college/academic relationships to support recruitment efforts.

Requirements

Capabilities that will enable your success

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • We welcome degrees in areas not typically associated with tech companies, such as Communications, Organizational Psychology, and Sociology.
  • Relevant work experience includes Recruiting or Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, Human Development and Performance, and Communications.
  • Desire to learn and understand the role of IT/Software Development engineers and technical staff.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and build networks and relationships.
  • Work with a sense of urgency and be outcome driven.
  • Familiarity with military and veteran hiring communities is a plus.

We work on a Hybrid Office and Work-from-home schedule.
