How You’ll Contribute:
Kaufman Rossin’s Business Consulting team works with business leaders to maximize value through integrated services that combine transaction advisory, corporate finance, strategy, and performance management. Our approach to M&A advisory includes a robust assessment of financial and operational drivers to validate deal terms and help our clients maintain leverage in all negotiations. The team is currently looking for a Transaction Advisory Associate, specific to our healthcare vertical, to work alongside our CPAs, MBAs, technologists, fraud experts, valuators, former business operators, and more.
- Participate in buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements, specific to the healthcare industry, with both private equity and strategic corporate buyers and sellers
- Perform quality of earnings assessments
- Analyze the financial operations of target companies and identify issues that may impact the purchase price
- Understand and evaluate financial and operational trends of target companies
- Communicate due diligence findings in a formal report
- Interact with the other functional areas of the practice including tax, audit, and other consulting practices
- Maintain active communication with clients to manage their expectations, ensure client satisfaction, and make sure both firm and client deadlines are met

Requirements
What Skills You’ll Bring:
- 2-3 years of recent public accounting or consulting experience, with a focus on audit and/or transaction advisory within the healthcare industry
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Previous experience with acquisitions, divestitures, and/or financial due diligence
- Strong knowledge of accounting, with experience analyzing financial statements and projections
- Advanced Excel (including financial modeling) and PPT skills
- Excellent written communication skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and comfort with public speaking
- Aptitude for creatively solving problems and fixing things through critical and outside-the-box thinking
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task, demonstrate a sense of urgency, and meet reporting deadlines
How You’ll Stand Out:
- Healthcare industry-specific experience
- CPA license or eligibility
- Bilingual in Spanish
