Full Job Description
This newly created Education Manager will support Travel Retail in the LATAM region. They will be responsible for leading the field education and events strategy in the assigned territory. They will support healthy sell-through and maintenance of key franchises by overseeing delivery of relevant and on-time core education & event initiatives. They are responsible for ensuring a consistent Charlotte Tilbury brand experience that meets/exceeds company sales and service standards. This will be accomplished with leading on-boarding, seasonal trainings, new launch trainings, retail account trainings, in-store development, and special events. This role also manages a team of Area Trainers to do the same. The person ideal for this role must have a passion for people development and working side by side to achieve results.
Role Accountabilities:
Leads Territory Education Strategy and Execution:
- Works with the Director of Education and Events to determine seasonal territory objectives, priorities, and goals (seasonal launches, new account openings, and special events.)
- Communicates seasonal education plan to stores, owns all logistics, preparation and follow up.
- Ensures strong follow up action plan to all training moments.
- Works in tandem with Area Trainers and retail partners to coordinate scheduling of all basic, seasonal, promotional, event, and in-store education.
- Provides feedback on field team’s performance (trainings, events, day-to-day selling)
- Implements all Charlotte Tilbury education and training initiatives to achieve desired business results.
- Monitors training needs of assigned market to plan and lead all trainings.
- Responsible for educating retail accounts to improve sell through & sales volume.
- Build strong relationship with vendors to ensure optimum brand partnership and awareness.
- Determine education needs through working with field team and develop appropriate action plans to ensure total territory achieves retail sales goal.
- Drive social strategy through regular participation in internal and external Social Media channels (Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
- Drives the execution of the Learning Management System platform including completion rates, retention checks & KPI reporting.
- Monitor sales impact as a result of training activities and programs.
People Development:
- Responsible for the management and development of assigned team of Area Trainers.
- Supports and develops field sales population.
- Partners with Director of Education and Events to oversee development programs for the field team, including education and artistry.
- Execution of onboarding, artistry certification timeline and KPI’s.
- Provides feedback and requests development needs around artistry, product, event facilitation & content to Director of Education and Events.
- Oversees execution of freelance team development.
Events:
- Leads events strategy to success in assigned territory through forward planning, communication & partnership.
- Support and lead planned retail events such as speaking at Nordstrom Trend Shows, facilitation of virtual and in-person masterclasses, and both new store openings.
- Creates market specific action plans in partnership with the Regional Sales Manager in assigned region.
- Provides side by side leadership and motivation on the sales floor with all staff and management.
- Ensures strong sell-through of all NPD while strongly leveraging all core products.
Budgets:
- Manages allocated regional education budget, and personal T & E and reports all expenditures on time, following policy and procedures.
- Responsible for booking all personal travel arrangements.
- Analyze spend vs budget (monthly, seasonally, yearly) for personal T&E as well as direct reports.
- Complete and submit expense reports on time each month.
Requirements
- 5+ years of beauty retail management
- People management experience preferred
- Experience in Travel Retail preferred
- Must be able to travel 75%
- Spanish fluency required
- Must have strong direct management experience including demonstrated success in developing winning teams
- Must be able to create winning partnerships with retailers
- Advanced artistry, social media and public speaking skills.
- Creative sales driver with passion, energy, and love of Charlotte Tilbury.
- Experience with multiple retailers including Nordstrom and Sephora.
- Ability to manage and lead high volume activity.
- Ability to work independently with integrity and efficiently in a high-productive environment.
- Intermediate skills in MS Office including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent communicator, both written and oral.
Benefits
Base Salary Range: $85,000-95,000**
