Full Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Contract Sourcing Recruiter to support the talent acquisition efforts for Civil Engineering positions in the Atlanta, GA area. As a Sourcing Recruiter, you will play a key role in identifying and engaging qualified candidates for various civil engineering roles, including design engineers, project managers, construction supervisors, and other technical positions within the industry. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of the civil engineering talent pool and effective sourcing techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Talent Sourcing: Utilize various sourcing channels, including job boards, LinkedIn, professional associations, and industry-specific platforms to find and engage qualified civil engineering professionals.
- Candidate Screening: Review resumes, conduct initial screening calls, and assess candidate qualifications to ensure alignment with client needs and job requirements.
- Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a strong pipeline of candidates for current and future civil engineering openings.
- Collaboration: Work closely with hiring managers and senior recruiters to understand hiring needs, job descriptions, and role requirements.
- Market Research: Stay informed of trends in the civil engineering industry and labor market to identify emerging talent and maintain a competitive edge.
- Candidate Engagement: Create a positive candidate experience through timely communication, feedback, and professional interactions.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and provide regular updates on sourcing activities, candidate pipelines, and overall progress to hiring teams.
Additional Information:
- Hybrid/Remote: While this position is based in Atlanta, GA, we are open to remote candidates within the region who can attend in-person meetings as needed.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced, dynamic environment where collaboration and initiative are key.
- Contract Term: This is a contract position, with an initial term of 3 months, and there may be an opportunity for extension based on performance and business needs.

Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Sourcing Recruiter, Talent Acquisition Specialist, or similar role, preferably in the engineering or technical space.
- Experience sourcing civil engineering professionals, such as design engineers, project engineers, construction managers, or similar roles.
- Familiarity with recruiting tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, resume databases, etc.) and an understanding of how to use them effectively for talent sourcing.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering terminology, qualifications, and skill sets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with both candidates and hiring managers.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple sourcing projects simultaneously.
- Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS), preferably Workable, or similar platforms.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with contract or temporary staffing recruitment.
- Knowledge of the Atlanta, GA civil engineering job market, including key employers, associations, and industry trends.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is a plus, but not required.
