Finance Director

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced USA Finance Director to join our team. As the Finance Director for the US business, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations of the company and providing strategic guidance to drive financial performance and growth, as well as assisting with the completion and integration of planned acquisition activity.

As a Finance Director at Commify, your responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing the day-to-day financial operations, including full ownership of all ledgers, and the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Preparing accurate and timely management reporting and statutory financial statements, including full monthly management accounts (Income Statement and Balance Sheet) and two-weekly cash forecasts
• Acting as a business partner to the wider US business and providing financial analysis and insights to support decision-making
• Developing and implementing financial policies and procedures
• Maintaining strong internal controls and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Managing the budgeting and forecasting process for the business unit
• Managing relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, tax advisors, and banks
• Leading and developing a team of finance professionals

Requirements

• Has a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

• Has extensive experience in finance or accounting roles, including previous experience in a leadership or managerial position
• Is familiar with both IFRS and US GAAP financial reporting requirements
• Has strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide meaningful insights
• Is proficient in using accounting software and MS Excel
• Has excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Has strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Is able to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Has a proactive attitude and a strong desire for continuous improvement
• Experience in the telecommunications industry or in a private equity backed business is a plus
