Groups Coordinator

To provide oversight and direction to all Turning Point Church small groups across campuses, as well as assisting with the overall leadership and development of all group leaders, and the curriculum necessary for all groups to grow and to thrive.

General Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to the following):

• Responsible for the annual recruitment of all new and returning small group leaders of Turning Point Church, ensuring each are always appreciated and  encouraged about their importance to help us care for people within our church.
• Responsible for the annual training and development of all new and returning small group leaders of Turning Point Church, ensuring each are equipped with the knowledge and tools to help them be effective in engaging with their groups.
• Responsible for the overall growth of small group involvement within Turning Point Church and methods for how members across all campuses are effectively informed and encouraged to engage with groups each year.
• Working alongside care staff to ensure any prayer or personal needs that group leaders or members may have are reported and adequately supported through our church.
• Responsible for the collection and assessment of all small group curriculum, both for group usage and group leadership training, ensuring all align up well with our overall church values, goals and when necessary, message series and topical schedule.
• Responsible for providing any group metric reports when necessary, as well as being responsible for all small group budget and expenditures, ensuring all church adopted policies and procedures are adhered to.

Requirements

• Highly administrative; proven ability to effectively utilize Google Suite applications
• Must be highly organized and relational, with strong communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills; a team player that makes people feel welcome, valued and wanted
• Spiritually mature and able to come alongside people to help them take next steps spiritually
• Prior service /experience volunteering in a local church preferred.
