Responsibilities

  • Provide first level contact and convey resolutions to user issues
  • Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment
  • Conduct remote and local troubleshooting for all members of the business unit
  • Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures
  • Install, configure and manage network servers, endpoints and IT tools
  • Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements
  • Apply and monitor security processes defined by the global IT operations team
  • Ensure good performance of our fleet of computers
  • Implement corrective measures when necessary

Requirements

  • BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent
  • Previous work experience assisting internal users as a Desktop Support Engineer, Technical Support Engineer or similar role, ideally within an international scale-up setting
  • Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux (Ubuntu, Nginx, PostgreSQL)
  • Knowledgeable in Azure Active Directory
  • Good knowledge of LAN/WAN networks, TCP/IP protocols and network technologies: VPN IPsec, OpenVPN, Firewall, etc.
  • An understanding of AWS IT infrastructure
  • Ability to perform remote troubleshooting and provide clear instructions
  • Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills
  • Knowledge of network security practices
  • Tech savvy with working knowledge of office automation products, databases and remote control
