FusionSleep is an accredited, independent medical practice that is 100% dedicated to sleep medicine. Our expert team of experienced physicians are board certified in sleep medicine and focus on disease prevention and management.
We are currently seeking driven, goal oriented professionals to join our team of Patient Advocates in our Suwanee, GA location. This role requires you to live in Georgia and commute to Suwanee, GA.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately scheduling patients for clinic appointments, sleep studies and PAP set up and support appointments.
- Educating patients on our services and communicating what to expect during service visit(s)
- Responding to patients and referral sources about insurance and other general questions regarding our services.
- Verifying active insurance, quoting benefits and financial liability to our patients
- Engage in verbal and written communication with referral sources, team members and Management.
- Managing inbound and outbound phone calls while providing excellent customer service
Requirements
- High School Diploma, some college preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years prior experience with healthcare related Customer Service Team and/or Call Center
- Previous experience as Medical Assistant a plus
- Ability to explain insurance benefits to laypersons.
- Self-motivated worker, critical thinker, capable of learning and retaining new information quickly.
- Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, and CareCloud
- Strong written and verbal communication skill
- Excellent time management, organization skills and comfortable communicating via phone, email and text.
- Understands and follows HIPAA guidelines.
- Accustomed to working in a high volume, fast paced, goal oriented environment.
- Knowledge of sleep, pulmonary, and/or cardiac medicine, PAP devices and supplies, a plus
- Professional and friendly phone voice and demeanor
- Team player that recognizes value in nurturing relationships with different departments.
