We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Assistant with a strong legal background to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the medical (particularly IVD industry), biochemical, legal, media, publishing, or sales sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review various contracts, including acquisition agreements, distribution agreements, and consultancy agreements.
- Draft corporate policy documents.
- Translate important documents.
- Assist in the management and coordination of various projects across multiple departments.
- Participate in both English and Chinese (Mandarin) meetings, providing accurate note-taking and comprehensive summaries.
- Facilitate cross-functional and cross-departmental communication to ensure smooth workflow and collaboration.
- Maintain detailed and organized records of project activities and progress.
- Support the manager in the development and implementation of project plans.
- Handle urgent tasks and assignments outside of regular working hours as required.
- Assist in the preparation of project reports and presentations.
Requirements
- A legal background with at least one year of experience in the legal field.
- Preferred: JD, LLM, or LLB degree from a recognized U.S. law school.
- A minimum of two years of work experience in one or more of the following areas: medical (especially IVD), biochemical, legal, media, publishing, or sales.
- Exceptional proficiency in both Chinese (Mandarin) and English required to performance in the job, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent cross-disciplinary and cross-departmental collaboration skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong adaptability to Asian corporate management culture.
- Ability to commute within 40 minutes to Buckhead or Alpharetta, or willingness to relocate.
- Flexibility to work overtime and handle urgent tasks during non-working hours.
