Project Engineer

Hire Resolve’s client is a leading Construction firm that is urgently seeking the expertise of a Project Engineer in Savannah, GA.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to participate in preconstruction services, including estimating and value engineering
• Track material procurement and coordinate deliveries
• Produce project schedules with site superintendent
• Review and determine suitability of submittals
• Quote/qualify subcontractor requests for change orders
• Track status of change orders
• Track status of Requests for Information
• Collect, verify and distribute as-builts
• Maintain project close-out documents
• Assist with field supervision
• Blueprint reading
• Quantity take-offs
• Subcontractor solicitations
• Correspondence
• Document Control
• Subcontractor Coordination
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• B.S. in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a degree related to the built environment is required.
• 2-4 years on the job experience is preferred.
• Candidates should have experience with technology related to construction, such as Blue Beam, Revit, and Procore.
• Strong written and oral communication skills are required.
