Job Opportunity: Plant Equipment Reliability Engineer at Industry-leading Chemical Company
We are seeking a dynamic Plant Equipment Reliability Engineer to enhance and sustain equipment reliability at one of our key chemical plants. This pivotal role involves spearheading initiatives to improve equipment performance, conducting thorough failure analyses, and implementing robust design modifications to boost productivity, safety, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the reliability operations, engaging with all organizational levels to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Conduct detailed investigations of equipment issues and recommend necessary design modifications.
- Perform failure analyses to identify root causes and devise strategic improvements across mechanical and operational systems.
- Oversee and manage corrective actions arising from Root Cause Failure Analyses (RCFAs).
- Actively participate and contribute to the Mechanical Integrity and Process Safety Management programs at the site.
- Develop action plans and collaborate with teams to address and resolve reliability concerns.
- Utilize equipment and production data to pinpoint and prioritize areas needing reliability enhancements.
- Prepare and distribute recommendation reports to key stakeholders for decision-making support.
- Manage critical documentation regarding equipment end-of-life and plant vulnerabilities.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience in maintenance or reliability engineering, specifically with rotating and fixed equipment in chemical, refinery, pulp & paper, or related Process Safety Management (PSM) regulated plants.
