Responsibilities
- Own the performance of Exotec systems at client sites
- Oversee the reliability of client sites, analyzing performance, and creating and executing performance improvement plans
- Analyze the root cause of issues escalated from Exotec Control Center
- Act as level 2 escalation for non-core products (3rd party conveyors, etc.)
- Work directly with clients to diagnose and resolve interoperability issues
- Plan and execute site software and system updates
- In conjunction with the sites managers, coach on-site technicians on site best practices to support uptime targets
- Propose and help drive maintenance procedures and process improvements across North America and globally.
- Actively engage with Exotec R&D and product teams on specific maintenance issues
- As part of the client team, work with the client contract engineer and sites manager to respond to client requests, including monthly performance reporting
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering required
- Broad knowledge on software, mechanical and electrical engineering
- Some exposure to the industrial automation, materials handling, warehousing and/or logistics sectors would be highly beneficial
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills with an enjoyment for solving problems, both big and small
- Customer service mindset
- Ability to collaborate with others as well as drive your own work
- A comfort in communicating regularly with clients, contractors and suppliers
- Travelling up to 60% to client sites across North America
