Finance & Accounting

Our finance team is central to the success of the business. Our aim is to proactively drive business value through informed and insightful decision-making. We work in partnership with the business and are agile and responsive to business needs whilst maintaining a transparent system of effective standards, processes and controls. The role

As part of a US Finance team, the Accountant role will have the opportunity to really make a mark on the future success of GBG, and your record of achievements. Working from our Atlanta headquarters, the role will report to the US Financial Controller within this fast-paced and acquisitive organization.

What you will do

This role will execute a variety of accounting procedures, billing and revenue recognition, inventory management, month-end and year-end closing tasks, completing audit requests, and ad hoc reporting requests and tasks assigned by the Financial Controller. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated go-getter and self-starter, eager to thrive in a fast-pace environment and possess analytical and technical capabilities to support the Finance Team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; part-qualified or fully qualified through a recognized accountancy body (CPA, CMA, CFA, CGMA)
• Previous experience in accounting/finance role
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, specifically Revenue (IFRS 15 / ASC 606) and financial reporting requirements.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to present complex accounting information in a logical format.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and generate meaningful insights.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to meeting deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
• Experience with Microsoft Business Central is advantageous.
• Adaptability and willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities as needed.
